    Currently with one of the big training companies. One year in. Dedicated. $.53 cpm team split miles. Zero on both team member's CSA. W2s say low $40's. Did not start getting consistent miles until before Christmas. when we became dedicated. This accounts for the low year end salary. Dry box. Hazmat.

    Trying to pay off debt. Would like to have home time every 6-8 weeks VA.

    Stay, or start looking for another company?

    Are you not happy where you are or just curious if the grass is greener somewhere else?

    If you plan to stay team... $.53 all miles to the truck for team is not what I would look for. But thats me.

    Right now if work is steady.. I would stay until spring. Maybe put some feelers out and see what other companies will offer you.

    How do you see yourself 5 - 10 yrs from now? If no idea.. you should try to work on some long term goals. Many many options and paths to take in this business.

    Thank you for your reply. We are just curious to see if there is something better. We have some issues with bad communication with dispatch we think that may be true of any trucking company. We would like to be retired 10 years from now and will be in our 60's then. Waiting till spring is a good idea.

    Abilene Motor Express is probably what you're looking for. Lots of west coast and pacific northwest.

    The best pay is probably Old Dominion for teams.

    Need 1 year, clean MVR, doubles and hazmat.
