I was asking DOG-C.
BTW- it's a free country. Quit if you can get something else. I love my DCS account but if they pull some crap with me I will move on. I'm a big boy and can handle it.Vincent2254 Thanks this. -
You need to keep a notepad and write all your load info each day and miles stops etc but most importantly keep track of your jb load numbers each day. Those load numbers are what they show on paycheck. At the end of each day or each load your discpatcher needs to close your load out and if you are getting shorted you have all the proof you need and you need to just speak up and show them the disconnect. Also speak to your dispatch when you hand paperwork in and tellem your problem it will get handled. Let them explain how they closed your load out. Also go right to your manager and it will be nipped. Always keep track cuz there may be a dif dispatcher closing you out everynight. This isnt jb screwing there drivers. Its a dispatcher who dont close the load right. There is nothing here that cant be fixed by simply talking with account manager and dispatch. Mistakes do happen and its smart to keep track every week to fix it.

I worked for jb to answer your question Wicked wizard. On the newburgh cs account. If I can get hourly pay like I do now, why would I continue to deal with the BS crap with JBH and their inability to even MAINTAIN a fleet of tractors (i use upper case for emphasis). I have a driver friend there at your account and everyday its a BS hassle getting a truck that actually ......*works*.......and is in DOT compliance. Its a joke
Raging Bull69 Thanks this. -
I agree the internationals do suck as@..they are the maxxforce engines and they are neverending problems and a couple older ones with the isx which also are trash...Thankfully we have mainly cascadias at my acct or i wouldve been on my way to another acct. Jb needs to wake up already and ditch those prostars and get strictly freightliners like just about every other company has done already or better yet some volvos too. There much more efficient and much more comfortable.

Well I'm a new driver at jbhunt , and we make good money ...I don't understand how people say so much bad about this company ...they have awesome staff and you can easy make a1000 a week or better I do and home every morning and weekends off ...I make more then otr ..
-
A thousand a week is not that much money at all. I used to be a driver and a manager for jb and their business model is to undercut and bid low to get contracts. The driver will lose every single time. You say you make a thousand a week, whoever had the account before jb was probably paying their drivers 1500 a week. My biggest problem I had with jb was besides the low pay, you had to do too many things for free (sit in traffic, take out pallets etc). Never againPintlehook Thanks this.

You are a new driver with them? Maybe come back after the honeymoon is over and tell us how things are then.

Just joined today...heaping praises in a company that made bait & switch famous..I smell recruiter..Last edited: Feb 5, 2017
loose_leafs and sevenmph Thank this. -
I agree with the others I smell a recruiter or jbh damage control. People say bad things about your company because you are the masters of intermodal bait and switch. You used to be the masters of OTR dry van bait and switch.
$1000 a week is not that great for any trucking job and you do not make more than even a lot of the garbage OTR companies let alone the good ones.
Why are you bad? Your trucks are unsafe junk, Your trucks are too slow, your pay is too low, the majority of your drivers are morons that hog the middle lane at 62MPH, block the fuel pump for 30 or more minutes.drvrtech77, stevep1977 and CALLEN Thank this.
