Nah just helping people to start reading. We've discussed the whole pre booking thing several times but someone who doesn't wanna research it ask the same questions. When I started reading this thread and forum I was taking notes on certain stuff and key points prior to me starting here.

Yep, me too. I look at many post and think "that's been covered a bunch". I just don't say anything anymore. I'm to lazy to find where and post a link. And if I say anything I come off like the rear I am so I just bite my tongue now. Help when I can but I hate repeating myself 5 times over. Particularly when I'm sitting at the house like now. LOL

So basically cj is saying, if a guy can't be bothered to search or read the thread himself, he can't be bothered to do it for them. That is a sentiment I agree with completely.

Kinda like the dude in another thread that asked for info on Mercer, was given a link to this one and responded, that's from 2012 and irrelevantto today. Must of put a lot of effort into searching/reading to think this thread had no current info or discussion in it.

The first thing I did before asking questions was to read 1200 pages (that's what it was at the time) of posts...It actually gave me a better basis for more specific questions. And answered 90% of the ones I had.

I have to admit, I'm one of the ### holes who didn't read all 1400+ pages, but I like to think I read enough that hopefully when I joined the conversation I didn't ask all the same questions. I don't remember doing so, but then again, my memory sucks. It does get annoying now, so if I contributed, I'm sorry.

I am looking to be an Owner Operator , I actually have 5 more months to go on flatbed to get a year of recent OTR .

I have been reading this thread and it absolutely has relevant information.
Just be patient and read thru . Alot of it is common sense but there are some real jems in there .

Ok, apparently not, that was my first post. There were only 620 pages at the time. I got like 30 in and gave up reading. I do remember that

Ok, that's why I don't remember asking, no one acknowledged the questions, let alone answer them. Yall were too busy arguing the new truck vs used truck to be bothered by the annoying new guy. Apparently I waited a week, then just joined the conversation.

Thank you for this link, but I've already read this. Sorry that I wasn't more specific earlier. Let's say I'm delivering a load in Chicago next week and find a load that I like and book it. Now there is someone who's already delivered there and just by chance, hasn't seen the great load I booked until after I booked it. Since they are higher on the board than me, can they take the load away from me?
