Well, hello to everyone still checking in on this forum. Hope everyone is doing well out there wherever they may be. I still get on here quite often but don't post anything. The forum has slowed down quite a bit in the last few months. However, with a lot of the negative vibe being posted that's probably a good thing. Things have still been going ok for me. I mean I can get an occasional hick up from time to time but over all things have been pretty normal for me. I guess that's part of the reason why I haven't posted much. I believe anyone can get a bad experience anywhere out here with any company. Then you either get busy turning things around or get busy leaving. Once you spin down that negative road far enough you can convince yourself most everything isn't good enough to stick around. I have been disappointed for some of you out there. A few bad experiences and then throw in the towel. Then make it sound like it sucks for everyone. Venting is one thing that can spin into a very negative vibe. Everyone usually has had a bad experience somewhere. I believe this place is still a very good place for a lot of us. Learn the system and learn to make it work for you. It can be different for everyone. Anyways, I'll just call it there for now. Hopefully we all have a good year. I'm going to try and post a little more often going forward. Look forward to reading more posts on here. Take care out there everyone.![]()

Hey, good to hear from you and thanks for the holiday wishes. Hopefully the holidays were good to you as well. For me, getting to be home was the best part. I certainly didn't help my bank account being off so much but it sure was worth it. I couldn't ever be a trucker without enjoying being out on the road but I truly LOVE getting my time at home. So hard to come back out sometimes. Thanks again for the post and take care of yourself out there.
Lone Ranger 13 and maninthemoon1 Thank this. -

Limited loads. Usually they have the local guys do the local deliveries and outside carriers do the long haul stuff, but every once in a while a Geopoly roll load needs to be moved on a company truck. I did 1 load in 2 years...wish I would have been offered more. (Geopoly is the roll product they sell that is used for ground liners for stuff like retention ponds or land fills. They used to have a small division of installers that use to travel around putting it in place, but they let outside companies do that now.)iraqralph43 Thanks this.

Guess you've been off on hometime too long. Many states I've been thru are at or below $2. Every state I checked between TX and MD all show below $2...even your beloved home state.
