Well sorry to burst your bubble but lots of company have common keys that can unlock the same type of truck. I can take my key, walk over to another truck, and unlock it.

So is there any type of safety device you can buy to keep the door from opening? I guess we use a rope to tie the doors together to keep from being opened? Just a thought.

1. Don't work for usx
2. Wasp spray with a 10' trajectory
3. Get a 40cal glock
4. Change the locks on your truck door
5. Get a Doberman pinscherThe Patriot and Ditch Doctor Thank this. -
In a cascadia, run the seatbelt thru the door handle and buckle it. It would prevent someone from opening it.The Patriot, Lonesome and Virdis Thank this.

I've unlocked other Cascadias, a Prostar and a Penske Volvo with my Freightliner key. I think it's to the point they all use conmon parts

I've heard the same key theory many times but when I finally locked myself out, nobody's ProStar key worked for me and I really tried. Hated paying that $75
Longarm Thanks this. -
I have yet to be able to unlock another Cascadia with my key. And I've tried several times. Maybe they're wising up?
For the record, I have seen this done. I locked myself out (99 Century) and another driver walks over and pulls out his keyring with probably 25-30 keys on it. Goes to the 'Chrysler' key and with minimal jiggling unlocked my door. The look on my face must've been something else cuz he laughed pretty frickin hard. We didn't work for the same company either. Scary stuff. -
Buy a $10 ratchet strap, loop it through your door handles inside your truck, tying them together. Quick to release if you have to. Might need a longer one for wide cabs.

Lonesome, dog-c and Junkyarddog5958 Thank this. -
Funny story last week I flushed my keys (stood up from going #2 and fell from pocket, then autoflush came). Company was supposed to have spares in a spot but previous drivers used already. Now funny/scary thing like @Longarm said, different driver came and tried several keys and got driver door open. I was so thankful. Unfortunately I only had 1 key so still had to wait on Volvo to bring 2 (66 miles away). But moral is just locking door doesn't stop people. Very unfortunate.
Virdis Thanks this. -
Preach it! Guys are constantly whistling and oddeling when get up after a meal and pat my belly!
This crap needs to stop! We need more government oversight and laws... We need communist rebellion...then all trucks will be red not just us xpressShaggy and CasanovaCruiser Thank this. -
