That takes all the fun out of it. But yeah, Main St is safe to walk down, but they advise not to use Market St.

 

I can never remember the street names, but if market is the one on the south side of the mercer lots, there are no cameras between mercer and downtown.

 

The choke bwouldnt have helped, there was bars in the middle that would have no pressure on them. , they way they were banded. The choker. .wouldnt have collapsed the bundle . I guess then he didn't , I loaded there just before he loaded that on and you were required to build a bulkhead. He must have slipped thrust the cracks, I wonder if he is still here

Yeah, Main St is the one between orientation and the driver's lounge. Market is the one on the other side of the drivers lounge. Google Maps is my best friend, I knew Main, but couldn't remember Market either

 

It reads as if to say that we are required to use the app and leave location on when we are operating our truck. It has to do with IFTA. Or we choose the other option of paying and reporting our own. That's as far as I have gotten so far. The fee is $2.75 a month for sending in paperwork thru app.
I am starting to feel that it will become "self dispatch". If I'm not mistaken that's what Landstar now has.

 

How does Mercer currently track your IFTA miles? Are you still writing on paper when you cross state lines?

Or when you get dispatched, does the computer system automatically calculate it?

 

I fill out weekly sheets and transflo them in. I use the old GPS to break out the miles per state.
