Yea those suck

This is utter nonsense. Legal width is 102" not whether it fits inside the rails.Highway Sailor, spyder7723, Oscar the KW and 5 others Thank this.
-
But if its a 102 and its not within the rails that means it hanging off to one side, which would the make it over 102 . how would it be otherwise?
-
He's talking about a 96" wide trailer not needing a permit as long as the load is centered and not over 102" wide.
-
I misread it , yep as long as load isn't over. 102 it doesn't matter what width trailer is 96 or 102
-
Call me lazy but it took until today for me to finally run my trailer dump switch. After doing it I feel real lazy as I ordered the truck per wired for it and OD strobes so it took all of 20 mins (I had ordered the pigtail and stuff ages ago) to hook it up and make it look like a professional install. I guess tomorrow I'll take the time to wire my OD lights for the trailer. Or I'll go fishing, one or the other.

Yeah, my bad, 102 is legal width. On the newer trailers, that is rail to rail. I'm not sure what the hell I was thinking about with the permits part, legal width is legal width.
