As already stated I just wanted to relate some of my experiences with Landstar. I will ignore the trolls.

Dispatch yourself off of a laptop in your truck that has a hotspot to get online with. Is what I saw a Landstar doing

I'm not sure on the dispatch yourself, I know the BCOs get the freight from Landstar Agents across the country. Some have their wife at home watching the computer and scheduling loads.

What maintenance program? They have a trailer dept. for those van guys but as far as the tractor goes, it's none of thier business so long as it passes the 120 day inspections. It's your truck so it's up to you to worry about maintenance.

They offer insurance through Gallagher, I have heard that you can get is elsewhere...Firstgaurd, if I am remembering it correctly.
