In three years I can count Cali fueling on two hands, and thats just enough to get to cheaper fuel (except tehachapi was often pretty low).

Mine is accurate to within 2 gals on 210 fueling. Well worth the money as I use it to watch my instant and average mileage and monitor how many gallons I have left.

I top on cheap fuel. Pull up my route and check fuel prices at every stop and plan on topping at the cheapest. For example, okc north and south can beat east and west by $0.25 or more.

Don't play the "fuel for trip" or "fuel for pay period" games. That only costs you money.

I picked up 60 gallons in Yuma. Combine that with the 50 gallons I still had and that will get me to Fabens, TX where I will top off at $1.639.

    Yeah, I rarely break a thousand. If I make 900 plus i'm surprised. I average about 700 a week.

Yeah...I'll have to add that to my mental list of "DO IT!" loads. Drug my feet and someone else swapped apparently.

Contact your driver manager. And OS&D. They will collect SOMETHING and pass it to you. My 4 stop load turned into a 6 stop load because of OS&D and due to an ordering mistake on JBS's part. I'm getting stop pay for the extra stops, mileage, and $150 because I had to sit a day while JBS figured out what to do with 20 pallets. Ive sat on a Tyson load due to a temp monitor mix up that caused Stater Brothers to refuse the whole load, sat on it a day and a half, got $450. You HAVE to ask for it. And especially with it being Cokes fault.

  9. Absolutely is not a term you should use especially in regards to "climbing out of the hole." You simply don't know. You aren't on percentage lease, so how would you know?

Well I am in the yard, got swapped to a South Carolina load. I went an lost my mind and purchased a Rand Mcnally TND 730, BUT I already have a Garmin 770. I will be posting a through review of both in the near future, since no one else has the balls to do.
