Hey!
One of the most annoying things I've found driving under my own authority is the number of times that a broker cancels on me very soon after having committed to giving me a load. Can you recommend any strategies to avoid that? Is there any way to leave a bad review for a broker's agent and check if a broker has made false promises to other drivers before... or something like that? It's super frustrating to feel like they can do whatever they want just because they're in a position of more power...
Thank you!
Carol

Often a case of them finding a cheaper truck.
Use the axe method detailed above.truckon, LumbraX and Straight Stacks Thank this. -
You can leave feedback(reviews) on MembersEdge, also known as TruckersEdge if you use that one.

Same as they rate their carriers you should be rating them. You will learn whose word means something and whose word doesn't mean squat. Eventually you'll find some good ones for your lanes and can develop a steady, healthy business relationship.

TQL started out with nothing 97 then he hooked up with a banker the biggest bank in Ohio and they went from 350 people 2005 3800 people plus today they did get it by having feelings for truck drivers. Is it near the top of the list of company to work for. They spoil all those employees with your money in fact the founder very young founder tql is now the richest man in Cincinnati. TQL has 46 Office in 20 States and is open up 15 more with no slowing down on the on the horizon. So just like CH Robinson it done for 30 years so too is tql . Good old monopolization.Next time you are in Cincinnati take a look at their brand new headquarters and remember every time that kid on the other end of the line tells you they're only making $100 on your load???

Truckingrookie82, whatever loadboard you get the load from is who you should make the comments to. If you belong to more than one and see that same broker on there, comment on all of them about the dirt bag. Give reviews on every bad broker and the details why you would be careful with them or why you would recommend not working with them at all. We've got to help each other out and avoid the crooked brokers out here. I read the comments with DAT Transcore all the time and when I see a number of bad reviews I look for another load. I've seen a lot of comments on certain brokers who say the load got cancelled, but the hunch is they covered it with somebody cheaper - those guys I drop like a hot iron. On Truckstop, I don't have that feature for comments on brokers, so I pretty much lean more heavily on DAT. And as far as TQL goes, I never answer the phone when I see their number calling me. Ever notice how they never leave a message, either?mickcuster Thanks this.
