Wow... I did not know this about Fsrm2Fleet. Do you think Bill tried to grow company too fast?

Worse, they lie to you. All the time. Whenever drivers start leaving or growth slows, they always announce some big new game changer that's just around the corner. A couple years ago that was a partnership with Covenant Solutions. What happened to it?

About 6 months ago, their pay problems started getting bad. Why couldn't they pay on time? The story they told is that a bunch of new drivers had breakdowns and F2F had loaned them all money for repairs and was just temporarily behind on cash flow.

After a few weeks of that slow pay, a bunch of drivers started leaving and grumbling on Facebook rate per mile masters. Then suddenly F2F announced they struck a deal with Jack Daniels for some good paying direct freight. We'll have more details for you in a couple weeks. So you stick around... Then a couple weeks later they say that they have to wait 6 weeks for their insurance to expire to renew with a policy allowing liquor.

6 weeks later, and where are these Jack Daniels runs? Oh we were underbid...

Another wave of drivers leave and now they announce they just closed a deal on a dedicated drop and hook oversized run in Florida. We don't have all the details just yet, but let us know if you're interested and we'll get back to you when we know more. Months later, where are these loads? Oh that was just a request for proposal.

Then they blame their cashflow problems on F2F drivers for not running enough miles. Don't sit around waiting for good loads, we need revenue!

Then the fuel cards stop working. Its Pilot's fault they say.

Then it is because their factoring company has stopped factoring invoices for a large number of brokers. Or because they have a cargo claim with a large broker and can't get paid until it is cleared up.

Then they say Bill has been stricken by a most curious blindness. He's not always blind, but you can count on the blindness to flair when there is something you need from him. But it goes away whenever the opportunity to recruit presents. Or when he needs to drive to work.

Now this is a post that explains a lot! Thanks for your insight. That original deal with Covenant alarmed me right away, what company could ever see the advantage of partnering with them? I've worked very hard over the last two years and have done well. I'm not interested in making a big mistake that sets my goals back. I do my research. Asking here is just a small part. For some reason taylormade keeps telling me to PM people for their info instead of it coming out here. I do appreciate this answer. Not hearing anyone come to bat for them speaks a lot.

And I wish Chinatown would quit recommending them to every new kid on the block - unless HE is the mysterious Chinese shipper bringing the direct freight deal . . . .

My bad bro, I was unaware of the issues that was going on with them and figured you'd get some real world answers through PM. Guys PM me frequently asking about Mercer and D.Mosley so I figured that was the norm

Nobody can be in all places at once, so I would have missed it all too.

My attention was drawn to this a while back, and if you just read, with a fairly critical eye, the social media posts - a pattern forms.

The 'ol Facebook - can be a dead giveaway at times.

Let's just say it's a tough year for trucking, and your ship needs to be watertight in rough seas.

But I thought the O/O found their own frieght. If that is the case, how can one grow too quickly?

Oh I know unplanned things happen, etc... But if you bring on another driver and they find their own business... Seems like a good model for growth to me... But I might be missing details.

And yes, this thread, if true, does cast a different light on the subject from my past readings.

And while I could easily dismiss the few negative postings from new profile as just an unhappy driver or someone with a personal axe to grind... I am not seeing any posts from any of the f2f drivers that have posted info about f2f in the past...

I hope they see this thread and offer up a reply but if none come, well then, that is a mighty powerful statement too.
