If you are interested in that company call and try for a different recruiter. Sometimes particularly after an event recruiters are slammed. If it offends you so much she hasn't returned your call, enough then move on. But if that is the case, you will need to develop much thicker skin if you are going to survive in trucking (particularly your first year). Good Luck.

I never was a fan of that TV show, but I do remember it and that guys name. He always kept what looked like a pack of smokes rolled up in his tee shirt sleeve.

Your
Traded dealing with rapist and muderes to align yourself with liars, cheaters, and thieves, every company out here are thieves and they will thieves from you daily, dispatchers and brokers are all liars, and most but not all drivers are no better , when you see the nasty fat smelly truck driver who speaks broken English ,you will ask yourself what did I get into. -
Schneider is a better starter company than many out there. Don't let one recruiter's lack of response cause you missing out on learning more about the company. Call the main recruiting line and hook up with someone else.
You may not choose that company, but at least you can make a more informed decision. If you choose to call the person one last time who has failed to respond previously, do NOT make any remarks about not responding being a lack of respect. For all you know, that person is away from work for illness or family emergency. There is no need to eliminate yourself from consideration by your own words.
I wouldn't bother with another call. If you make contact with a different recruiter, the first one will find out soon enough that someone else is working your application.Grijon Thanks this. -
I would think they get so many calls and since you didnt answer the first time when they called they moved on to someone who did answer the phone. I know you said you were busy at the time but they dont care im sure.

Locate the headquarters of said company and call their general line then ask an operator for a recruiter.
As I recently went through the license and hire process I'll add some advice...
Figure your top ten things you are looking for and try to get as many covered by one company. This is your future and most companies seem to treat newbies about the same.
I liked my company having an operation center in my home city. I felt like "home time" or my 34 hour break would be at home. Not in the Flying J in Bug Tussel, bfEgypt.
I looked at what I could find on here posted by veteran employees of that company. Talk to them via message.
Expect less salary at first no matter what you're told. You'll earn slower at first because of the learning curve.
Be safe. Forget car habits in a tractor. You move at your pace and f'them if they can't wait.
Good luck. I liked Pat Harrington's character... -
Seriously, mega-crap recruiters are like used car salesman. They will tell you what you need to hear to get you in the seat. After they have made their weekly quota, they have no motivation to make any more effort. That is what you are experiencing. It is not hard to make hiring quota this time of year.
