That's kinda like when a woman posts on TTR.BiH, Oxbow and Cottonmouth85 Thank this.

Music, tight curves, slippery wet icy roads, windy days, rainbows, flipping off old crusty truckers, blowing my horn when pulling into truck stops to let everyone, asleep or not, know that I've arrived. Breaking drivers' mirrors in LA traffic with my trailer and hammering into the carpool lane .
I'm such a great driver.BiH, bottomdumpin, Cottonmouth85 and 1 other person Thank this. -
Because a man likes to look at the women sitting pretty in their seat, he's a pervert?

I didn't tell you what they said
(and this is knowing I was in high school at the time, so quite under aged).
BiH Thanks this. -
That's another aspect that attracts truckers to the profession, not being strapped to the political correctness world ie. most can still get away with being crass perverts and still keep their job.
But I have heard fathers get on the CB and dress down the raunchy CB crowd and boom the smacktalkers have gone silent.
On the other hand if a woman comes onthe CB talking sexy crap to rile up the crowd it is game over. It is like pure nasty word orgy anarchy on the CB. -
I get it; I'm not the most PC person either but I was pretty grossed out at the time hearing a bunch of dudes more than twice my age saying blush worthy stuff about me like I can't hear it. lol
Honestly the freedom to say whatever is part of why I'd like to work in the industry though, I'd prefer the office since that's my skill set. Have worked in too many uptight white collar offices and got really tired of all the pearl-clutching, frankly.BiH, Oxbow, scottlav46 and 2 others Thank this. -
- Running on an empty state route on a clear night out west and seeing a sky full of stars.
- Running 85mph in Texas...then all of a sudden a large car blows your doors off.
- Running all day long with no radio on; just the sound of your engine and the turbo.
- Only dropping one gear to climb Cabbage Patch.
- Dropping 5 gears when that Swift truck cuts you off on Cabbage patch.
- A light load routing me home.
- Convoying with a decent driver that left the same shipper you did.
- Polishing my wheels and tanks and it doesn't rain for at least 12 hrs.
- Shooting skip.
- Nailing that blind side back in with one try.
- to be continued....SoDel, ramblingman, allniter and 9 others Thank this.
