Help for a friend?

I highly doubt anyone here is mad about it... But that's what he is facing... Harsh but true.

 

Sounds like a good way for your friend to get started. Buy his way into a job... And work up from there. {I am only half joking}

 

I was under the impression that companies were required by law to verify the last so many years of your employment, and if you were driving, then a bunch more years. Has that changed since I retired?

 

Idk man, if he cross the street, will he be okay without his parents? He might need a company that allow ride along for extended period of time

 

Dad can fuel the truck for him.
Mom can continue to cook for him.
Maybe they get their CDLs and let him ride.

Dang, it's sounding pretty good to me.

 

So why doesn't he just continue living with ma & pa? Are they getting old enough that he might actually have to CARE for them?
It's really tough for me to find any sympathy for someone in this position. I'm not judging him, I'm just not in sympathy with you er him....

 

Not mad? Hell I am! I'm 22 and have been doing this #### for 2 years wish I would have known I could have lived off mom and dad till I was 26 lmao! that's it I'm going back home I got 4 years of rest and relaxation left lol

 

Maybe time for his parents and friends. ..to quit carrying him in life...mom and dad need to stop treating him like a 6yr old...he will never make it in truck driving...unless his parents will be driving for him....and why do other people have to find him a job....why can't he do that himself??

 

Thank god for GPS! That way he won't have to find the shipper
on his own.
