Because you typed inside the quote, I fixed it for ya.

Back when my dad had a truck we'd do oil/fuel filter changes every 250 or 500 hours depending on the mfg's recommendations. Air filters usually a couple times a year. Complete steam cleaning, inspection and grease job every weekend. In 12 years as an O/O I think he missed maybe half a dozen trips (log hauling, usually can do 2 or 3 trips in the average day).

I live in Grants Pass Oregon. -
(truck stops, always skip grease fittings): grease job & filters changed every 9K miles, oil changed @ 3rd interval.
-
Do it yourself and do oil analysis done.

In the SW Oregon area there's a lot to choose from that isn't a truck stop. Depends on if the OP is allergic to dealerships or not, but there's also a few small shops like TP Trucking and Dean's Diesel, though I don't know if Dean the Dinosaur does much PM work.
(I live in GP, used to work at one of the dealerships in Medford)TaylorMade407 Thanks this. -
My mechanic I have is Grants Pass Towing & repair in Merlin. I've been going to him for years and he does a really good job so if I do go down the owner operator road I will make sure to see if he can do any work to a actual semi and not just regular vehicles.

I do my oil change every 10000 and grease ever 5000

I change oil and filters myself as per recommendations from Blackstone Labs where ive sent every oil sample from every oil change for the last 10 years. Usually its around 25,000 miles. If the oil isn't wore out or too dirty theres no reason to change it any more than necessary. I grease every 10,000 miles. Ive got 560,000 on my isx and samples are still coming back excellent.
Grijon Thanks this.
