I worked fro a local company that was crap and told my DM i was done when i got back to the terminal, i got back emptied my truck and went home , the next day the company called and wanted me to go take a drug test , i had quit the day before, i told them i didnt work there and was moving , they reported to DAC i refused to take a test and now it is on my report just because my DM didnt tell the company i quit . What can i do to correct this ?

These companies can find alot of different ways to screw a driver when they quit by dinging they're Dac unjustly. And its not easy to get that crap removed.

never answer the phone from the company. If you do answer the phone and they begin on that drug test schpiel they have to read to you, immediately hit *mute* on your phone. You're still connected but they cannot be sure you're hearing them they will hang up and call back at which time you have not been officially notified or well you have but they first have to read that crap to you then give you directions to the pee place.
But it is just easier to not answer the phone from them at least til you are working at your new job. Then when they try to send you to drug test, you say, hold on let me check with my boss. -
and 24 hours later the op has never returned

That's all good, and if they (former employer) are out to tarnish his DAC, I'm not sure they would care if he answered the phone or not. Hard to say.
