Make sure your company is aware that all loads into Canada now must have an edi lead sheet( electronic data information). No more showing up with paper entry. It's one sheet with a barcode on it. Soft enforcement period is over, 3000 fine if you present without it.

The company is pretty much on the ball so I assume they are up on the changes but I will ask. Thanks.

Is that the same thing as those PARS stickers with bar codes? Company gave me a huge packet of PARS stickers but didn't explain it well. evidently have to affix them to the bills, call and 800 number and tell them the PARS number so they can putit in the system and they would ask me where I wantd to cross the border, they would send it to that location.

No, that's separate from the pars.

Same as an ACE when entering the US.

If the company comes up here all the time you can be sure they'll be on the ball but make sure you have pars/paps stickers if needed.

So what's involved with the FAST Card? Is that a Canadian Application for US Drivers or is it for drivers of both countries and bidirectional?

Mostly used for auto parts carriers and drivers. If you don't haul auto parts then don't bother with it.
