So,I'm here with Millis Transfer out with my trainer, and I've only logged 2000 miles in THREE weeks!!!!!! I need a total of 15,000 miles. Between the truck breaking down and now him taking 4.5 days off. And just general CRAP I'm really missing home....I got too much down time. I'm losing my patience and my "hanging in there" is about to come apart!

This dude has his stupid Nerd graphic audiobook blasting on the radio and I told him I'm falling asleep,he just ignores me. Or it's playing so #### loud I can't focus. I'd hate to switch trainers this far in it, but this is crazy. I'm pushing myself so hard to squeeze miles out the day I can't walk due to the pain in my leg,I can't even dump MY load in the commode that hit me 300miles prior to stopping.....
I'm all in on this deal,I sold everything just to be here,I need prayers of some words of wisdom to keep me going. I'm at my wits end

Get a new trainer if u can't sleep.

Training usually last 3 weeks to 6 weeks. Some even 6 months. Bright side, once your done and do your year in, u never have to go with a trainer again, unless u want to or its for training with new equipment

Falling asleep while driving. Because them audiobooks bore me. I'd rather read signs all day

I'm not in your shoes but try to hang in there. If you ask for another trainer will it delay getting your own truck?

    Lunchbox379 Thanks this.

Make the best of it, and do what needs to be done - call safety and ask them what the policy is on getting sleep with too much noise in the cab.

You made these major moves before you knew about this and the real life we all have to deal with, so I would think it is a mistake I'm a way, committing to something without a backup plan, but that is my opinion.

I don't know what ever happened to common courtesy, but since that is gone... slam on the brakes, and change the radio station, from now on whom ever is in the captains seat calls the shots and owns the radio! <--- Besides the slamming on the brakes part, that used to be common sense.

Too much noise while i sleep is not the issue I mentioned. FALLING ASLEEP WHILE DRIVING,AND GETING IGNORED. i guess that's part of the job too, I should have researched better....
