Yes. I'm thinking about running for one of the Prick positions in the Prick cabinet.

 

When you are leased to a carrier that pays any fuel tax payment shortage (Mercer), the only thing you really have to think about is where to buy the lowest cost quality fuel and try to do that as much as possible.

 

So as we're getting close to truck show time, who is going to be there? I'll be rolling in to town Monday, staying at Best Western across the river. Learned my lesson to book a room way early unless you want to stay in the truck all week.

I've heard guys complain about this before ... arrive to pick up a load and the weight is nowhere near what the &*^% agent said it would be.

Happened to me again yesterday, load was only supposed to be 1000 lbs. Shipper looks at me and says, no, that's not right, not even close.

364 lbs total .... I guess I'll let them slide on this one...

Since being here, I think I've only weighed more once, but was told ahead of time that may end up being the case. It seems half of my loads are lighter than they are supposed to be. Usually goes from 45k to 14.5k or something like that.

 

yeah, that happens a lot. If they don't know what the load will be it will be listed usually at 40K or 45K. Also how many loads are listed as 48 x 8 x 8 and take up half the trailer and are two feet high ....
