Hello, we switched to these tires about 18 months ago. In that time, we've seen a big spike in wet road accidents and drivers complaining of a loss of traction. Has anyone else noticed anything abnormal about these tires?

Breaking traction or steering traction?
-
More specifically, the drives are breaking traction. Tractor jacks and breaks in traction during normal acceleration on wet roads.
-
Yes I have them, you really have to pay extra attention to the roads when it's raining, especially if you're light or bobtailing with these tires.
No accidents with them but they have spun a few times going down the road with the cruise on. -
Our company currently uses them. They're a freaking horrorshow on wet pavement, even fully loaded.
-
Thanks. Have you spoken to anyone about it? Did they say what the problem might be?
-
Yeh, we kinda noticed that too. Is your company talking to anyone about this issue?
-
No, I haven't talked to anyone about it except for on here today. I honestly never thought about them being bad tires before I read your post (I never had another set of tires on this truck so I don't know any different as these are still the original factory tires that came on my truck when it was new)- I have 204k on the tires now and are wearing good.
I have learned to drive this truck differently in the rain due to the spin issue. -
How are they in snow or ice ?
-
Awful -
I put them on new too , as they were out of X-Line energy 'D' at the time.
Light load in the rain, I get off the cruise, slow down and watch the throttle. I've had them kick out 2 or 3 times.
I will not go with these tires again.
