If the trailer is no longer owned by swift,then it should be obvious that swift, as evil as that company is, isn't going to have any control over what happens with those trailers once they are sold and therefore out of their control.

 

Might have had better luck if you left out all the drama.

 

Or left out putting every other word in ALL CAPS.

So you expect Swift to pay for the damages caused by another carrier, because the other carrier purchased a trailer from Swift? Your expectations sound pretty ridiculous.

 

EXCUSE me! BUT why DO you HAVE to KEEP making POSTS like this ONE here? I am TRYING to UNDERSTAND what YOU wrote BUT this STYLE is NOT going to WIN you ANY points. WHY would SWIFT respond TO such CRAP?

Saying Swift is reponsible for what a 3rd party did with a trailer they bought from Swift is like saying McDonalds is responsible for your kid being fat.

 

It saddens me to hear about this.

That is one old swift trailer it doesn't even have the enforcer lock holes. If the truck said swift on it, it may have been a truck or company leased to swift. Company trucks are mostly white and the L/O and O/O trucks come in different colors. Some swift L/O have been talking about disabling the qualcom and doing 80 and some drivers I've talked to have had their doors blown off by swift. If it was a O/O or a L/O swift is going to throw the truck/driver under the bus. If not it was one of the MANY fly by night, cheapo and mostly untraceable outfits.

You need three things when fling a report on a truck on the highway; truck number, trailer number and DOT number. I hate company's that rent penske trucks/use old mega trailers but don't remove the markings, and put that info on the truck via a piece of paper. I give them as much space as possible because you know they are the most bottom trash this industry has to offer.
