Lol... I switch from direct to ATT... Can't go wrong...The great salesman who hooked my ATT up ( who works for both ) recommended me switching back and forth each year to get the bottom line price on being a "New" customer LOL... Hasn't been a year with ATT yet but I just might ;)

Great thread. I was just accepted to the program. I just have to decide whether to lease new/used or buy a used truck outright. There are so many variables, it gives me a headache.

Anyway, I was wondering what you guys do when a load is cancelled and you already have loads planned out for the rest of the week. Do you lose all the loads after the cancelled one? Also do you have to pay if you book a load then you can't pick up/deliver for whatever reason?

Cool, welcome aboard. I was in the same boat your in, i was about to go to lone mountain and get a new cascadia, but i really wanted the kenworth and at the time lone mountain didn't have the 680's. For a few other reasons i wont boar you with I decided on SFI and got a new KW 680. Im happy with my decision. If i were you I'd weigh the bad with the good, you can lease a new freightliner 0 down for 1 year to see how you like things. At the same time, buying a good used truck and have little or no payments will make your life alot easier, its pretty slow here with the holidays and the market right now just sucks. So like i said just weigh out your options and it really depends what you feel comfortable with.

If a load cancelled and i have 3 loads booked ahead, (its happend several times) i either find something else to get me where i need to be, or cancle all the loads and start over, it hasn't happened too much but enough times to really piss me off lol.

    LarryBigByrd Thanks this.

The dish i bought (tailgater) only works with dish network I think. I haven't had any issues so far with it, i mount it on the top of my truck when i park and get signal even in rain, and i dont have a house, so my truck is it lol if i had dish network at home, i would only pay additional 5 bucks a month for the mobile service, but i stay at my dads when i get in town and they have cable, so i pay 80 a month.. Its still worth it for me.
