Is that a company or broker load? My company deals with brokers a lot and I am constantly getting garbage runs like that, I.e. Just had a run I picked up Thursday night in NJ and had the first delivery Sunday night in Minnesota...full one day wasted. At least they are giving you layover...I get 0 at my company

 

I'm here and I wouldn't exactly call what happened with me and Bruce's pillow "making love". A vulgar act of sexual deviance illegal in 22 states would be a more accurate description.

Put in a little over 600 miles today to make it to Henningsen in Stilwell OK. My appointment isn't until 1330 tomorrow, but hopefully I can get unloaded a little earlier. I left a message with Nick about getting an earlier appointment, but didn't hear back. From here I'm picking up at Pennington Seed in Greenfield MO going to Charlotte for Monday am.

 

Made it to Fargo around midnight. Ran to Walmart.
4 hours to load in Newport. Then scaled I'm 79600 lbs. Going to make it a slow trip across the passes.

 

It's a company load.

Before I get too bent out of shape about it, I will wait to see if something better is offered tomorrow.

 

I will be delivering to the same place in OK on Monday if they keep me on this load. I saw the directions from the customer on the PeopleNet...I may need to speak to an interpreter, I speak several dialects of southern redneck, but man, those directions...what can I say...it's Oklahoma.

My favorite directions ever were to the port in the Philly area. They included "turn right at the strip club".
