No sd cards. Uploaded to the cloud. We had a break in at one terminal. They ripped out the computer on the dash, set off the camera. They panicked, took that too! The footage was forwarded to the police.

Can one of the mods/admins pin a list post showing which companies have the cameras? I know there's one in this thread somewhere, but not sure what page it's on.

That's the same line of bs I heard from my last company.... Until they started announcing how much they were monitoring drivers with the usual crap.... Taking a drink of water, not holding the steering wheel with both hands, etc....

It's all third party... The option to monitor does not exist.

People may get in trouble for such things, but it is because they were doing them during some random pothole or bump that set the camera off.

Following the basic rules, avoid eating and drinking during slam and go traffic... Will keep you out of trouble.

I run regular routes. I know where the triggers are.... I have never been questioned about anything if it did not involve heavy traffic..

Amerigas/PTI has them in use. Claim it's to coach, but mainly used to fire drivers

Swift straight up told me that they can turn on the cameras and monitor them remotely if they feel that the driver has been unsafe.

So, with that in mind, what makes you think that other cameras are any different.

Schneider is putting in cameras. But they're outward facing with no audio. And that's about the only way for a camera to be in my truck and a company to convince me to be behind the wheel of it.

Sure, it's their equipment. But it's my house for the time I spend in it. I live in that truck while it's on the road. If you don't trust me to drive it, don't hire me. And all the reasons they give for "coaching"... It's all a pile of well disguised #########.

6 months ago I drove an hour from home to interview with dl landis in pa they run all 07 and older 379 Petes and run paper logs,as I'm filling out the paper app in the lunch room a driver walks in and I start asking him questions,He tells me they put driver facing cams in trucks a month ago needless to say I bolted right on out of there,of course recruiter never said nothing about it during phone interview.
