After having my preload in Long Prairie, MN turn into a 4 hour circle jerk to get it completely reworked, and the endless construction from Wisconsin to Maryland, I got backed into the receiver in Elkridge, MD 1:45 late. Headed up to PPG Dover for a load headed to Aurora, IL delivering on the 19th. When I get to Aurora, I will be at or just over 11k pay miles for the month so far.

Yeah doing good. He is getting restless, though, since I haven't had much time to get him out and play fetch and burn some energy.

Anyone online know how this route is? Not seeing any restrictions on the atlas.

One of these brokers overly paranoid they're gonna lose their customer to a competitor. I would have probably bit my tongue too. BUT I don't think it unreasonable to say "I don't feel comfortable loading my trailer not knowing where it's going".
Brokers are in general a pain in the ###. I actually booked some of my own loads with my previous company. Some brokers I worked with regularly and built a relationship with were great. Others were total pricks. But the most annoying to me were the ones probably fresh out of college, certain they knew everything, and negotiated loads like they were trying to sell me a mint condition 92 Hyundai.Pigbacon Thanks this. -
Sounds to me like you have a "double blind" load. The shipper is selling it to a 3PL, who in turn sells it to the receiver. The shipper and receiver never know each other, or communicate with each other. We use to get those from time to time with Poly. We would only have a pickup number and a destination city. Once you call in loaded, they give you the delivery info.Pigbacon and 4mer trucker Thank this.

Was told to drop load in Fargo at the yard. It delivers by 2000 in GF. It's still sitting in yard 2 1/2 hours till delivery.
Dropped load at 1430 in the shop for service at 1440. -
I was going to take that route once, going through Annapolis, right? For whatever reason, I ended up not taking it. Would be interested in how it goes if you take that route.

I had back to back CHR loads one time. I was unloading at the consignee, and had an appointment to load at the same place about 6 hours later. I called CHR & asked if they could get me an earlier load app't (I'd already asked at the shipping desk & couldn't get a direct answer). I was told they couldn't discuss the next load until I was completely unloaded on the first!
Pigbacon Thanks this. -
At the Petro in Sturevant, WI. Delivering in the A.M. Then more than likely my last Magnum load to Fargo.
