Get ready, because Roadcheck 2016 is almost here.

"Why should you take Roadcheck seriously?

Consider this … during Roadcheck 2015:

    • 69,472 roadside inspections were conducted
    • Of the 44,989 Level I inspections conducted, 17.5% were found with Out-of-Service (OOS) vehicle violations
    • The driver out-of-service rate was 3.6%
    • The rate of cargo securement violations was 15.3%"

BTW, the full results of Roadcheck 2015 are in a report linked to the above website.

I get my annual inspection done right before road check to try to make sure I haven't missed anything before they take a look. This years emphasis is on tires. Make sure your tires are good.

I actually figured the OOS rate would have been higher.
It doesn't take much to get a OOS.

About 1 in 5 for vehicle violations. I'd guess half that number were brakes out of adjustment?

Driver OOS - have to be logs or "left my license/medical card at home ".

Double check or stay home I guess.

    Dominick253 Thanks this.
