I spent a 4 days with Schneider Orientation and this is what i observed
The head of the training program is an obese, grumpy ####### who couldn't even fit in a truck -- what does that tell you about setting the example
Some of the instructors are racist, make sexist remarks and talk bad about other students in front of the entire class
Then they make you watch hours of boring videos about sexual harassment when the staff don't even comply with their own rules -- they are hypocrites.
Schneider's goal from the beginning of the week is to drop as many students at they can -- they have a quota but they don't tell you this. Often drivers don't know that they're in danger of getting dropped until they are told -- for many it's a complete surprise.
They preselect who they want to drop and they set the student up for failure by shaming him/her, making him/her go first al the time, making fun of him/her and giving more difficult routes and tasks
The over the road part is completely subjective and despite how well you've done and improved, it's up to your instructor - he can say whatever he wants and they don't want to hear anything else
They do very little training. Despite the fact that we just finished school they expect us to be expert truck drivers from the very beginning and they start testing us
They won't tell you that they drop 25-30% of students during the first 3 days of orientation for shifting - when students are just getting familiarized with the truck -- instead they should give them more time to practice shifting (which they would get with their TE on the road)
They let a lot of great truckers go and they give you the boot on the way out with little dignity or respect.
If they keep on doing this, they are setting themselves up for failure.
I wished someone at CDL school had warned me about Schneider -- They visit schools and recruit heavily but yet they drop 30-40% of students for small things, most of them subjective. Their job instead should be to work on improvement instead of beating their drivers down
If this is the way they treat drivers in orientation, I'd hate to see how they treat drivers once they start working.

You graduate from CDL school and get bounced for not knowing how to shift after 3 days? I don't see how that is Schneiders problem.
