What are the things that are illegal to have in the truck?

Everybody carries a knife. It's handy and a tool. Not a weapon

 

A buddy of mine worked for Star years ago and one of their drivers was busted with a working meth lab in his sleeper.

 

Tell that to the US Customs and Border Patrol. I know from experience that they can seize a knife. They were antsy over a paring knife I had in my drawer. It is a kitchen knife with a 3 inch blade. there was a time they were inquiring about box cutters. I cross the border 2 to 3 times a week.

 

You should get a copy of the Federal Regulations when you become a driver. It's a green book. It lists everything that is federally restricted. Past that, you need to learn local and state laws.

 

Donuts and all other pastries would definitely get confiscated. But the evidence wouldn't last long.................

 

I was gonna say, based on most truck stops, I think deodorant is illegal. Shhhh, don't tell anyone I carry extra!!!

 

Then you should be fine, just don't do your "Achmed" imitation at the scalehouse....
