I wouldn't be hungry until night if I spent that much on breakfast.

Back when I was driving, you could still find decent restaurants at the hook. At least most of them. I wasn't averse to truck stop God back then, as long as it was good. Fast food in truck stops never was something I was interested in.
I agree. If I want pizza it has to be good.
That just seems so wrong!
Eh, should get a guy through to the mid morning snack, anyway.

It was sad, he looked around 30 years old and had to weigh 500 pounds.

I hardly ever see drivers eating it. I tried it 3 times when in the oilfield, but it was bland and overpriced. I mostly see 4 wheelers selecting from there.

He became a dispatcher at the last place I was leased onto.tucker Thanks this.

Honestly, I used to be like that myself. 10 years ago I was in my mid 20s and close to 300 lb and could eat all day and never feel full. Constantly ate junk food and drank soda (easily a case a day). Then I decided it was time for a change, replaced the soda with water and replaced the junk food with meats and other protein heavy foods. Started doing intense physical labor (switched to unloading trucks by hand) and lost 75lb in the first year. As my weight went down my energy went up (thanks to ADHD). After a few years went to work in an amazon warehouse where I had to walk 15-20 miles a shift and do a lot of heavy lifting, weight loss stopped around 200lb (muscle replaced the fat, and it weighs more). 5 years of working in that amazon warehouse got me to the point of not eating much if I am not physically active, sometimes not even needing as much sleep either.
Been almost a year since leaving that job after getting my CDL and I am glad to say that my eating habits have not changed. I barely get hungry if I'm not being physically active.
You don't have to eat healthy to lose or maintain weight (I rarely eat greens or vegies).
It is simply a matter of calories in vs calories out.canviskiller and tucker Thank this. -

Since we're on the topic of making people drool, while simultaneously "eating healthy", I'll describe my lunch. Last night I marinated boneless chicken breasts in brown sugar and honey BBQ sauce for about 6 hours, then slow cooked them over charcoal for 45 minutes at 220 deg. In short, they were amazingly delicious.
So for lunch today, I'm going to dice up some of the leftovers, add about a cup to a salad, couple tablespoons of real bacon bits, maybe 1/3 cup of fine shredded cojack, and cover it all in ranch... Grape tomatoes, as well.Dave_in_AZ and albert l Thank this.
