    Screw those no idling scumbags!!!
This kind of heat it's a straight up safety issue. Tell your safety clown....err...supervisor that you will be unsafe (magic word) to drive if you can't get a comfortable nights rest.
And do this on your qualcom\peoplenet etc. so you have a record of the conversation.

Dominick253, LoneCowboy, Rocks and 5 others Thank this.

Yes, and require them to respond in the same way.

If they don't, send a message asking why they refuse to respond in an official capacity over the QC.
That would be your back up message.

Only for a few minutes until you get back out in the heat.

100 degree heat happens every summer. Why are you working there if they have a limited idle policy and/or no APU's and demand a comfortable sleeper environment?

Demanding something like a cool sleeper at this point is a little silly. You knew it was coming and yet there you are, sweating.

A good workers comp claim for being hospitalized from heat stroke gets their attention.

I like how this thread went from CHECK your TIRES because of the heat, to "my company doesn't let me idle!" and it did so #### quick.

But really, y'all should check your tires and then come ##### about an idling policy.
