You might be able to pick up somewhat early but it's a tight place and they lock up for the night. Call and ask before heading in.

 

There is a pump on the driver side of the motor you unscrew, and pump. Don't ask me what it does all i know is the engine starts after i do it.

 

Fuel system is sucking air somewhere and you're losing prime. Best have the mechanics look into that one.

The recall is for the camshaft. Different problem.

 

If that's what you have to do to get your engine to start, STOP. DO NOT PASS GO. You need to get that sucker into the shop ASAP. As in TOMORROW. There is something wrong with this picture. I drive a 2015 and have not had this problem, nor would I put up with it past the time it came into the shop.

Tell Dispatch you have a critical issue. Get that sucker into CR or Fargo RIGHT NOW.

 

Keep an eye on your oil level. An injector might be leaking down and diluting your oil with fuel(it will actually increase the reading on the stick). Had the 1st truck I owned do that. Oil got so diluted with fuel it wouldn't build enough oil pressure and shut down.

 

It's all good, I'll make a snorkel for the intake, get some scuba tanks, and keep on truckin!

 

Could be worse. Tropical Storm Colin is forecasted to track right thru my neighborhood tonight. We really need the rain, it was a very dry spring.

At Poly, every company contact had their own unique image and ring tone so I didn't have to guess who was calling and downloaded a lot until I found the one image that juuuust fit the person calling
