Yep. If you got crappy mileage from less than stellar fuel at Love's, you'd get the same mileage from the Pilot across the road or the TA down the street. Now if the fuel is contaminated from the underground tanks, that's another matter.

When I had my Jetta TDI, I went down to the local Shell distribution office and asked where our local diesel was refined. He told me it was refined at the Chevron (Now Western Refining) plant in El Paso

 

I was at the Love's in Lodi, CA a couple of weeks ago. I got in the tire check line behind a C.R. England truck. I was surprised when she started to drive away with the airlines still connected to her rear tires! I started honking and she just kept right on going! She must of done a self-serve version.

Needless to say, she destroyed the hose connectors.

 

We have a few drivers at my company that refuse to fuel at Loves. I fuel anywhere my fuel card works, always have and always will. Quick in and out is all I'm looking for and I've never had a fuel related issue. I save two hours a week on my 2500 mile run by avoiding the known cluster fumps on my route. That's 8 hours per month I'm home. I wasted enough of my time hauling junk freight to horrible miserable people.

 

The Love's in Eloy, AZ surrendered half it's parking lot for the new repair shop.

Tried it today for first time. I'm impressed.
