It would've taken more than just one to stop me had I encountered one of those groups. I'd have made certain of that.![]()

Welcome to trucking. The bottom line is no license. You can't fix stupid.

I don't get the whole "you're the professional" thing either. If someone drives into you there's not much you can do. We're supposed to hold our lanes and try to avoid a collision , but we can't read minds.
bottomdumpin, Mtn Gal and Canned Spam Thank this. -
i had a similar accident a bit over a year ago, traveling threw a green light car stopped at the red light in the right hand turn lane on the cross street on my right hand side. as soon as my tractor passed the front of there car they pulled out and drove right under my trailer.
fair bit of damage but no one was injured they were deemed at fault and there insurance covered my damages. could have been worse.
glad everyone is okMtn Gal Thanks this. -
Did u talk to the lady? I hope she admitted her mistake instead of being a coward
-
I'm going with "no".
That would lead to potential financial distress, and we certainly can't have that.
Now, if the OP's lane violator is a true parasite, then likely her first phone call was to a whichever manner of slip-and-fall lawyer does the most advertising on the boob tube.bottomdumpin, Big Don and passingthru69 Thank this. -
Never talk with the others involved
They have a way of taking those conversations to lawyers who twist the words around
Also I think your neck and chest are sore from impact. Plus you will start having bad dreams and a tough time driving
Best to seek legal counsel to help resolve the issues with a nice a settlement minus the lawyers 33.3 percent. Also if married wife can seek funds as she has been at a loss of husband love as the accident has left you unable to perform.Newfrontiers, Mtn Gal and Mudguppy Thank this. -
She had no license Therefore she is at fault. She shouldn't have been on the roadFriday Thanks this.

If the car wasn't reported stolen, then whomever's name is on the registration will also have some questions to answer.
State DMV's don't appreciate letting unlicensed drivers borrow your vehicle. -
This is a a MOOT point. You did nothing wrong
