Was your CAC (Charge Air Cooler) or radiator damaged? My brother's CAC had a leak that wasn't detected or fixed during the two weeks it was it the shop. That caused a cascade of problems. The turbocharger, exhaust manifold, and ultimately almost a complete in frame had to be done. He's suing on an incident to collect $24K on an incident from four years ago, and it may be years before it is resolved.
By the way, regarding that head light in your video, Gorilla Tape.

No somehow by some miracle the damage was only cosmetic. Here is a few hours after when the sun came up. I originally made that video because the insurance guy wanted tons of pictures. The video does so much more than pictures ever could. So a flimsy flopping headlight tells tons more words than a stale picture lol. Agreed, gorilla tape but anyone who makes videos is in the mind control business, savvy?

Lepton1 Thanks this. -
I imagine after 39 years you may have noticed a change in driver attitudes over time? Would it be fair to say you're hearing more and more about current truckstop crashes than 2 or 3 decades ago?Lepton1 Thanks this.

Quick video showing the guy 'looking' for a parking spot, yeah, he was trying to exit the only way out of the place. Me and a bunch of other drivers stopped him. You can see as I was standing in front of his truck he tried to drive right around me while filming him. I kept moving in front of him and he kept turning but he knew he couldn't get away. One driver got in his face threatening to kick his Big AZ burger lol.
Notice his two flat trailer tires as well.

I can tell the purpose of this thread is personal. For those of us that have been hit when legally parked in a truck stop, it is personal. Whether you own the truck or are a company driver you loose money. Protect your pony.

I have found that if I stay out of the "drama" areas, I have no "drama".
That area means parking in truck stops.G13Tomcat, scottied67 and Lepton1 Thank this. -
WRONG! If you had a Toyota you wouldn't have to post this!scottied67 Thanks this.

Directing?
I'll help someone who's having trouble, especially if they're being careless and are going to hit someone, but not having it 'slam dunked' immediately isn't enough. Seems more like baby sitting than helping.
Good for you though in helping out with the situation in the original post. -
Although I agree with the Toyota as I hate them more, but I'm not wrong as the Ford, Chevy revalry is an American Tradition and has been that way for decades.texasbbqbest Thanks this.
