Easy trip planning made simple using the Scottie System()
. Ever been running on recaps and you get a hot load offer on your QC and the traditional trip planning could actually make you late lol? Use the prepatented Scottie System()
to accept those loads in a hurry and be a hero not a zero to your load dispatch manager.

Didn't watch the video, but does this planning include planning on buying a new log book?

Make sure you have enough hours available and enough time to get there before accepting the load.

How does that differ from the traditional method?

How do you patent simple arithmetic? You either have the hours or you don't. You can either squeeze in a restart or you can't. Rather simple

If you watch the video, yes indeed my patent pending easy trip planning formula calls for fresh new logbook pages..

As you know, U.S.A uses a different math system than the rest of the world.

I don't know what the problem is, maybe that newfangled new math called Common Core. All I know is in the last few days I had to repower two guys' loads because they were projecting late deliveries. First guy had the hours to do it but chickened out because he was worried about where to do his 10 hour break before delivery. Well, that's what he told dispatch. What he told me was that he didn't want to do an 8 hour sleeper because he'd have to do a 10 hour break after. I didn't argue I just took his load.

Next guy totally blew his trip planning out somehow. I pulled into the J and saw a cone in front of a pump so dropped the trailer there and rolled around to him, he hadn't even dropped his trailer yet even though dispatch said I was inbound in a few minutes. Then he got all pissy because he had to hurry and drop and was worried about losing his prime J internet spot where he was watching a marathon Netflix Sex in the City or something. Anyway after all his B & M, problems getting the trip number correct and fuel problems plus some idiot decided that 0900 AM deliver in Los Angeles is the cool thing to do, i was a little over an hour late myself. I even sent a message in-- Do Not Make Appointments in Big Cities During Rush Hour.

But what I'm hearing is a lot of drivers (new) are not properly trained how to make their trips on time. So I thought to make a quick informative video for the newer drivers out there and have a little fun doing it.

This doesn't seem like a knowledge issue. It's all common sense. It seems like an issue of not wanting to do the job.

Planning a long run into a big city you've never been within 500 miles of with a set delivery appointment comes down only to common sense?

I think not. There's entirely too many unknowns.
