the truth about taylor...if you are considering driving for taylor, then you had better consider this:
lets start with low pay, low mileage, 63mph governed trucks, volvo's with vorad installed, e-logs, freightliners with 36in sleepers, poor dispatching, crappy freight, papaer rolls/walmart, no breakdown or assistance between the hours of 2am until 7am, forced dispatching, crappy hometime, one day off for seven days out...maximum of four days off even if you are on vacation, hidden charges and fees...lease purchase if you want to buy a piece of junk at a ridiculous overprice. still thinking of driving for them??? stop any one of their drivers and ask one of them about "valerie". (lmao) or their shop/maintenance. haha.
best i can tell you is; "You have been warned!"

I thought they moved to kanas city, missouri. I never worked for them. Talked to them once years ago. They seemed shadey then. After seeing some of there trucks on the road then. And finding this post now about them. I am glad I stayed away from them.

Was considering doing a lease with them. Tractor is at a hefty price. $100k+ for a 2012 Freightliner. 3.5 year payback. Not too sure about wanting to do that. Anyone know what rate the drivers are getting for flatbed/ Stepdeck? also loadboard, or call and see what they have next. What's next for the company to move isn't always the best for business as the truck owner. Short bounces that pay the company $1200 and your told it pays $500 for a 250 mile run. the typical $2 a mile story.
