I think it's more they get recruited here by some "agent", get very little training, a bogus CDL, and employed by one of those fly by night companies who change their decals and numbers when the DOT comes after then.

No harm to your truck besides the annoyance of him folding your mirror.. I wouldn't want this accident reported. Him speeding off is a different story. Most truck drivers are quick to call to police. Kudos to you for holding back.
