registration/irp, ifta, insurance, permits for running intrastate Texas, hazmat permit and hazmat ERG if appliicable, annual inspection, all I can think of for right now.
Dave_in_AZ Thanks this. -
You don't need to carry, but make sure registered with UCR...

Thanks

You need a Texas DOT inspection as well. Get at any T/A, Petro, Boss Shop. Its like $30.
-
Texas DOT inspection, really? Does an Annual Inspection from anywhere not suffice?
-
It's a Texas sticker specific for Texas.
-
I ran Texas for years, never heard of it! What exactly is it called?
-
Is that just intrastate? Or are OTR guys supposed to have that too. I know at my company, we dont. But if we should, I'll have to let the boss know. They didn't know about Georgia amber light permits till I told them either.
-
Don't know. The company I was leased onto was based in Weatherford. Might be just because they are Texas based. But it is a whole separate piece of paper in the permit book. I got a Level 2 roadside, and the Texas DPS did check for it. He was a good guy too.( Passed ). They don't give you a sticker, just the form.
I got it at the BossShop in Weatherford. Call and ask them, they may be able to clarify it.
Wait, maybe they did give me a sticker. I think they did. Sold truck so I can't check, sorry. Seems like I remember putting another sticker by the annual.
