My only advice would be to listen to the instructors on the road and range, and watch other students. Like anything, it requires practice and until you have a handle on things, always get out and look if you're not sure. Don't worry about getting rousted my the other students. Eight out of ten will be out of the industry In a year anyway. Good luck!

My advice. Aim to miss. That is to say aim to go one spot further than you're going to then jack it in at the last second. If you aim straight for the hole you'llbe way to shallow and it'll make it much harder.

I pull up next to the spot directly on my left then I Veer to the right at a 45 degree angle and once my trailer is somewhat straight but at a 45 degree angle from the hole I'm perfectly positioned to back into the hole

Scottie I don't think that's the offset back you do on your test. I could be wrong because I didn't have to do that maneuver back when I tested, but I'm pretty sure you don't get to pull up and line up. The maneuver starts going backwards.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong on that

yeah I watched the other video the guy pulled straight ahead then cut back into the spot. I believe CREngland teaches it my way though, I used to study all their modules and videos when I was starting out that they have or used to have on their website. I guess I will have to make a new video lol

I thought offset was easy. Just take a shallow angle and watch your trailer tires to know when to start straightening it all out.

Forgot to mention, I thought it would be a worthless test but it has come in handy a few times.
