You were hired by a company with a fresh CDL-A and they sent you out on the road with no trainer? If that is correct than it's amazing you made it as long as you did.

Giuseppe Ventolucci and Gunner75 Thank this.

I was hired by an OP fresh out of CR England. I was doing deliveries from the Bay Area to LA. The guy asked me if I wanted him with me (FOR THE FIRST TRIP). I declined because he was going to be telling me what to do , how to back onto the dock and that wasn't going to help me once I was on my own.

I made my share of mistakes too, no tickets or accidents. A lot of stress and many nights and days w no sleep.

I'm glad I gained all that valuable experience on the road and didn't kill anybody.

Keep knocking on all doors, buddy. Somebody out there will give you a chance

You need to figure out how many accidents and incedents are on your record. Check your mvr to see what moving violations you have.
Once you figure out your driving record you can then work on what you write on applications and what you tell recruiter.
All your experience you will find a job.

To ALL who have answered, Thanks!!! I HAVE TRIED THEM all Western Express, Swift, Can Am, So many I cant remember, But I still havent quit. What I want to know is can the company that I did work for, The terminal mgr told me that SHE WOULD SEE TO IT THAT i WOULD NEVER DRIVE AGAIN. Can this happen and what could she put something on my record to stop anyone from hiring me??? I know what is on my MVR a 4 point violation for FAILURE TO YIELD RIGHT OF WAY. Its my CSA score?. MY PSP and others are good because Can AM was going to hire me til they talked to the people at The company I use to work for.
