The QuikTrip on Loop 12 I believe at the Davis Street exit in Dallas also has those signs but as far as I know they don't do anything over there either
-
Are you guys current jct drivers?
-
Most of us are yes
-
See y'all pretty satisfied there. And was told that they only allow you to lease there trucks, do they still have company trucks
-
They have very few company drivers that were here back in the day when JCT hired company drivers. Now, it's either lease a truck from them or bring your own truck.
-
Oh wow I gotcha, are you doing any good there? I got burned really bad a couple yrs ago. Last payment of truck and I was terminated. But the joke wad on them they got there Mc# and there dot# pulled.
-
The fact that you looked that up scares me. LOL
-
What? I was curious! Its odd that you can't over night park at a truck stop! So I wanted to see the ordinance...
-
I also have a habit of fact-checking Truckers when they talk about regulations. One of the ones I checked out was kind of interesting.
In California we could technically get a ticket for using our APU. The reason is because our engines are certified clean idle. The APU does not have a diesel particulate filter. Now if we were running non certified clean idle engines the Apu use would be fine.
So according to California it's less polluting for us to idle are big engines at 900 RPM and then it would be to run our APU.
