Didn't mention it up front but I would have arrested impounded vehicle and 6 pts which is half of the total here.

 

Lose the CDL, lose the DL, lose the Job, and hope DCFS wasn't called too... LOL

Yup, title was asking a question about speeding ticket.

Got a 95 in a 65. Reckless driving and misdemeanor with no chance of school or probation(in Illinois) suck to say but if that's goes on your record, you have at least 3 years of unemployment until a carrier will hire you. Or you can work for pennies with 1099 carriers cause they hired anybody, but hey if you like $200 a week then good for u

Getting a ticket is one thing what you got is a reckless.How could you not know you was traveling that fast.Its rare an officer tells you to hire a lawyer,i would check your MVR and see if he put anything else on it.

 

Seriously,you didnt "notice" you were going around 100 mph.Anyway not good for a cdl holder.Think they could have taken you to jail,if they wanted to.Itll cost you some "grip",but,should be able to get it reduced by paying more money to the court.Faulty speedometer,non moving violation write up being the best.
