My APU just pumps out cold air when i have it set for heat. Anyone else have this problem?

 

Sounds like your bunk heater is in need of a service. They're suppose to clean the heat chamber and replace the glow plug once a year. When you 1st start it, does a cloud of smoke come out from between your truck and trailer?

 

You can turn off your fan until the heater starts blowing heat.

I took a 10 in the dirt lot with no trouble. Its not wal mart property but the building it's behind is vacant. It may be tempting to park in the Wal Mart lot, but an employee told me they often run trucks off or tow them if left unattended.

 

Took matters into my own hands. Contacted broker to see if I could get deliver appointment moved up 24 hours. Success. Then I notified dispatch after I did it.

 

US Foods in Buda TX=Sysco in New Braunfels Tx. Took 6 hours for 4 pallets. Made some detention out of thou so

 

There is overnight parking at Buda TX too...

 

You're using heat already? I gotta bump my ac up some now just thinking about it. I don't expect to find out if my bunk heater still works for another 6-8 weeks. Like others have said, they tend to quit working if not used for a while. Espar and Webasto reccomends you run them for at least 20 minutes per month. Kind of a pain getting your ac cold enough to switch to heat during the summer though. The shop can fix it pretty quick.

 

No cloud of smoke just no heat.
