I left before xpo bought Conway, but still talk to folks from time to time and everyone I've talked to is kinda holding their breath to see what shakes out...
Ultimately, I suspect the overhaul will be good for shareholders and not so great for employees/drivers. I don't think XPO wants to keep truckload, but the market turned sour just after their purchase of Conway and its a bad time to try to sell a trucking company.

I've been thru a a couple
Buyouts and always came out on the short end until I walked out .

Was through there like 2 months ago driver, there was quite a few, there is also trucks at the W.Memphis terminal like 3 weeks ago same thing. I checked around some and as I suspected there from drivers that had turned their keys in. Oh and if you remember Ruthie from W.Memphis she gone to, like back around earliest part of the year what I been told. Where the hell did xpo come from anyway? They seemed to have a couple trucks moving rail cans then all of a sudden they buy one of the largest ltls?

they came into my area after buying BTT,(bridge terminal transport), the container draggers. they are one of the biggest logistics companies in the world.
