I don't get a choice on the glass, a dealer is called, the dealer sends whomever to replace it. two to three windshields a year is the norm.

I don't believe it'll make it through winter, it'll crack with the cold.

Get the crack filled, my company does that unless is to large to be done. Sometimes they have to fill it twice, but to me it's well worth it, only takes them like 20 to 30 mins, and I don't lose any toll passes stuck to my windshield. Depending where your at company has sent them where I'm parked. Have a safe one driver

I think the driver of the truck should pay out of his own pocket to fix a window that breaks while he is driving. The company after all has been kind enough to hire him.

I think this "having my own authority" is changing me.

Perhaps the vehicles the kick up rocks ought to pay for the replacement.

how much do spend on replacements a year?

A little driving tip to help avoid flying rocks. Stay well behind any vehicle especially if they like riding on the shoulder. Try to time your rail crossings so you dont get the rocks that are shaken off of oncoming traffic.
Doesn't always work, but it will cut down the number a bit.

Great.. Fine by me. Take my money ill make you spend more. Havent had to yet, but if I ever encounter someone with this mentality game on all the way home.

Without fail. I get new glass a driver will just outta the blue hit the shoulder/rumble strip throwing rocks at my glass or chipping up my hood. Usually happens after they pass and wrecklessly come back into my lane 4 foot from my hood. But you know all this already im sure.

And dont say im following too close. I assure you i am not dumb enough to have any part of that.

Still wanna charge me to work for you? No probs, but in the end youll pay more. Have a good one.
