Well like OK pike pass and even the FL Sunpass have that delicate bonding that the slightest removal of them ruins them, I'm guessing it's a security thing. As far a EzPass/Prepass that's just an adhesive backing that is for securement and thats no problem removing and resecuring. My CA Fastrak is weatherproof transponder and is no issue as its installed on the License plate in the front with tamper resistant stainless screws..

Funny how some migh5 assume another is following to close due to chips in a windshield or what have you.

it's either the vehicle's that pass or the on coming on a two lane roadway for me.

I'm already doing that, I suppose a few more kits and donations wouldn't hurt.

    either way costs something

we donate enuff time ..replace lights, tighten down hex nuts on outside hub trailer seals (small leaks), add oil and coolant now n then, not to mention roads service n truck stops and dealer coordination for flat tires, pm, inspection stickers missing/outdated, air hose leaking/missing hose supports, brakes low/or flat out worn out, sweep trailer out, and pretrips and post trips (although some don't do the latter and complain when pulled in and fined,or have a preventable event lIke an inside dually that was near flat on the trailer they just hooked to).....lol...I couldn't resist telling/teasin ya some yellow.

I didn't go out of my way to look for a windshield repair kit but did look at a few places I parked at, they didn't sell em.

yesterday I was in traffic keeping the distance from the herd of vehicles in front of me when low and behold a dump truck passed loaded with busted up concrete.

a few small pieces happened to fly off his bed as he moved over into the same lane, sprinkling this already chipped windshield.

I guess I didnt get kit in time
