Running with JCT, Part Deux

You guys have 2017 freightliners? I cant get this thing to idle. I tried the cruise. I tried the engine shut off over ride. It wont stay pressed so i jammed a pen under it so it stays pressed the red light even stays on but still shuts off after 5min

 

our trucks don't have the shutoff.

 

The 2015's do have the idle timer. But, I can override that with the cruise. Not sure about the later models.

 

If you are with JCT, you should be able to override that. Some companies have it programmed where you cannot override the idle timer.

 

Anyone know how to set the clock on the dash for the 2017 cascadia?

 

Ive been trying to figure that out myself. Owners manual dosnt say and i cant find anything on the internet about it. Mine way off

You can't. Its set by the GPS unit in the truck. The GPS unit in the truck is hijacked by the Qualcomm. Occasionally you will have the correct time and directional heading (those two dashes on the right) it will be right when you turn on the truck but once the Qualcomm engages it flips.
