This gotta be the most stupid job offer this week!

I looked at the local CL also. Most of the listings are CRE, Swift, CRST, Werner, and a bunch of 1099 $18 an hour jobs moving containers out of the port. If you filter them out you can find some decent gigs hauling fuel, but they want 3 years driving experience. I don't have 1 day yet.

 

I think this one that's been running in my area for western express is pretty deplorable.
I think all you owner ops should be beating down the doors to western.

As recent CDL grad I should jump on it, I am over 23 lol. I hope no one falls for that. Anytime I read the words "Up to", it means when pigs fly I will see that.

 

If an 'O/O'* opportunity and a JDByrider ad read nearly identically, you know you're getting a great deal and should jump on it immediately!

*You're a pretender operator. You aren't fooling anyone.

 

The vast majority of ads posted anywhere looking for CDL drivers are highly misleading.

 

I always love the quote of "Earn up to x.xx on average."
Umm.. You earn up to or average, it can't be both.

 

It don't look bad but there must be a catch.With all this accessory pay one should be able to make way more than $1100 .Maybe that's $1100 after taxes?I doubt it though.
They also don't mention base cpm.

 

No job listing is ever going to list after taxes amounts... EVER. Because everyone's tax situation is different. So why would you expect to see an after tax amount on a job posting.
