This is looking like the week from hell..... after getting a bit sick over the weekend, finally got a decent night's sleep, made my delivery near vegas, but preplanned on a load that picked up in Ontario but my recap was not looking good, had just enough hours to pick it up but not for delivery. Of course I had to fight over that especially for the tendency of dispatch to forget we the drivers have the worst speed limits and DOT presence in the country with California. (Not to knock anyone from there, but I hate the limit there). Finally after a bit of a wait I got planned on a load out of here in the morning going up near SF area. From the looks of the google maps and reviews it sounds like there is a staging/waiting area for drivers, which is good because the appointments are so close I'll have to run it straight through, I guess I'll see what happens. Went to clean out the trailer and found the idiot forklift driver where I just delivered put two dents in the ceiling and a couple of ugly black oil smears there as well. I go to inform dispatch about having to go get this cleaned up and see what the shop says and I get yelled at and hung up on. Seems like I'll have to bring that up when u go stop in the yard.... the attitude from a couple areas of dispatch hasnt been good the last couple weeks. If we're expected to communicate problems the last thing a driver needs is to get ignored on the Qualcomm or hung up on. That's all I'm gonna say about that.

 

Who were the disnatches by chance

 

Yeah some of these dispatchers here are impossible to talk to. One particularly thinks he/she is always right.

 

I really don't want to name anyone right now....currently waiting in line at this #### TA shop to get the trailer bandaided.
