Could be, I wouldn't know, haven't had a ticket in over 20 years to find out....Maybe it depends on the State whether or not they send a letter to you first, could be....Either way though, nopay/noshow will cause you to have a bad day down the road, to be avoided, especially in our line of work....

I'd go back to the guy that will renew it for 2 years. Then if they won't you to do another physical, change companies to one that doesn't require another physical and will accept your current 2 yr. card. Don't mention the problem with the other doctor.

Flood the companies with online applications. A phone call will be a "NO" answer. An online app. gives the prospective company something to look at.
If no luck, try the WIOA Program California. They pay for cdl school and may require pre-hire letters which are easy to get.
Try these for company cdl school and apply to all of them:
    Carolina Logistics
    CRST
    Celadon
    O&S Trucking
    Knight Transportation
    Swift

I have a suspension due to not having enough money at the time to pay car insurance and it lapsed . I didn't even know what an insurance lapse was before that happened. I talked to a certain company and explained that I just didn't have enough money and while saving money for rent I though I had time get insurance, but that wasn't the case. It was a misunderstanding on my part and also I just didn't know, the safety dept of the company said it was fine due to it not being an unpaid ticket or a dui. Got my license reinstated and I'm ready to go. Life is full of lessons! Moral of the story be honest with the company of your choice. They will find it anyway, honesty isn't a circumstantial commodity! It's to be used all the time, though it's hard it's worth it!
